CFA ACTION ALERT: Urge Congress to Put the FCC in its Place!
On July 2nd, the Federal Communications Commission published sweeping media ownership changes that will enable large media outlets to get even larger, thereby limiting dissenting and independent media voices. In June, there was nationwide outcry when the FCC voted to enact these changes. Fortunately, it sounds like some members of Congress were listening.

These are currently bills in both the House and Senate that would undo part or all of the new FCC rules. Write congress now to urge your elected officials and get them to put those bills to a vote.
