Join CFA in defending the Separation of Church and State!

Fight the Bush administration's brazen attack on the democratic process of appointment for federal judges!

Tell your senators that you do not want a vote on D.C. Circuit Court judicial nominee Miguel Estrada by using CFA's new online activism tools.

Miguel Estrada is the infamous "stealth candidate" for the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. Historically, this lifetime court position has been a stepping stone to the Supreme Court. Estrada has refused to answer any questions about his judicial philosophy or his opinions on critical legal issues. The White House has openly supported this obfuscation by refusing to give the Senate internal Justice Department documents written by Estrada. The tactics of Estrada and the Bush administration are undermining our democratic system by trying hide the information Senators need in order to make an informed vote on this crucial judicial appointment. Now, the only tool left to senators who want to defend the democratic process for the appointment of federal judges is to hold out for the information they deserve and, if necessary, to filibuster.

The Campus Freethought Alliance at the Center for Inquiry has made it easy to express your support for a Senate filibuster opposing the Estrada nomination with our new online service that allows you to follow this and other crucial debates and bills on the floor of Congress, and then to take action. Stay on top of legislation that freethinkers, humanists and skeptics care about and have your voice heard!

Use CFA's new online activism tools.

Campus Inquirer is published by the Campus Freethought Alliance, a non-profit educational and advocacy organization that unites students, student groups, supporters and faculty on college and high school campuses in the United States and abroad to promote reason, science, free inquiry, and church-state separation in education.
